Hi all,
I have just spent the weekend in Paris and we were pretty close from CDG (when you are doing 180+mph on the Eurostar) and I looked up a few times over the weekend and I would very much appreciate help indentifying a few airlines please,
Thanks:
1) Airbus A310 that had a red stripe above its grey bottom and the tail had a white cross on a red background…I thought it was Swiss then I remembered that the dont operate A310s.
2) the same airline what ever it is but its an A330.
3) Airbus A330 that had a dark blue and white tail. The body was completely white, engines were dark blue and the colours on the tail were together in a curved shape and had a yellow-orange symbol on its tail.
4) the same airline but an A319.
Thanks for any help.

I think that must have been it for the red A330’s. Cheers.

Hows about TAM OF Brazil with 330s – white TAM on Red background, 2x 330s usually in together.

Come to think of it, the A319 looked a bit like Nouvelair…not sure if they own A330’s though.

Don’t think it is Egyptair as they don’t have A319s. They do have A320/321s though. A more likely candidate I think is Air Cyprus.

Only thing I can think of is Balair. But they have had a different livery for a long time. Not even sure if they still exist! http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=420817
Another possibility is perhaps Air Algerie? Admittedly a long shot.
Also, CDG is very close to Le Bourget so a biz type can not be ruled out either. Perhaps the Spanish air forces A310? However, it has a while tail with red cross so probably not. Don’t think they ahve A330s either.

Those sound like Egyptair to me.

Not a perfect fit, but the only one I can think of for the 310/330 airline is Yemenia. No red stripe though and the tail is partly blue – but they do operate both types and the tail is partly red and white.

Thanks for the help so far, Ren, the plane looked absolutely massive with unmistakable winglets, so I am pretty sure it was an A330.

Sounds like Privatair for the first two www.privatair.com but they don’t operate either of the types you describe?
Could you have mistaken the A330 for a Boeing 737 with winglets from your speeding train perhaps ?
Privatairs Ops are from almost always from LBG – same handling agent (themselves) as we use.
The blue aircraft are Star Airlines.

The first A310 sounds like AMC aviation but they operate A310s.
The A330 sounds like EgyptAir but they dont have A319s.
