I’m sorry if I keep going on about it, but there is nothing finer than a british designed and built aeroplane resting on a well kept (and watered) grass field. Excellent photography, too.

It’s the same one, swapped for a Firefly fuselage, and will be a flyer in the future.

Ouch  .. that sounds like a loss to me! Especially if she could be returned to flyable, although I realize someone woud have had to put up the money…, and although we have a flyable spit with the RNlAF historic flight, who would mind if we had two? Swapped for a Firefly rack?? Jeezzz…
The Aviodrome has little interest in military aviation as it is, which is fine with me.. I love what they do with the civil heritage, that’s unique too.

Is there more to tell about the peculiarities of this deal?

Is that Dutch spit flyable?
There’s one like that non flyable at the Aviodrome museum, surely it’s not the same one?
