I met Ron Brown at the air show here in Jersey last year. A great chap who has not lost his love of flying, especially the Lancaster in which he served.
He has written an account of his RAF years which has gone on general release called Per Ardua Ad Astra.
He gave a nice interview on Radio Nottingham, take time to have a listen to one of WW2’s unsung heroes and a really nice chap.

Ever since we met, Ron emails me on a regular basis usually with some aviation photographs or the odd joke, it was nice to hear him and his story again.
