I just had to take advantage of the weather yesterday! I met Danny (Jonezi06) and briefly Tom (LBARULES) for an afternoon of shooting aircraft (with a camera of course, not a gun) and eating fish and chips. Enjoy!

And just to round things off, here’s a shot of Danny with a cloud on his head. ๐

Ah yeah…
I actually left them out because I hate it when the landing gear can’t be seen behind the grass, but just for you mate!
Well it was a fast and awful landing so cant blame you, but better than mine ๐
and just to add paul, Onur Air went out RWY14 for some resson so we both missed that one!

Thanks for your comments guys. As always theyโre much appreciated.
Superb shots PMN! Love the FR pic
Just out of interest, what settings did you use?
Generally for shooting jets I use aperture priority at around f8 at ISO 200, and when snapping props tend to go to shutter priority at something like 1/200th. Iโm sure thereโs a better way of doing it but until I discover it (or am told otherwise) this works for me at the moment!
Great work! I would really like to get to LBA, there seem some good vantage points. I guess I should try looking at a way of coming via DUB, or something.
It would be a pleasure showing you around our little airport sometime Dan if you can find a way of getting up here!

Really nice shots there, in particular the white bmi.
I tried shooting a few aircraft during take off today, wasn’t very successful at all. ๐ฎ New camera time.

Also here’s one I snapped before I boarded a very late bus home, just to show how great a day (and evening it was).
