Ive just been reading the thread re the Hurricanes first flight at North Weald (well done all involved).
A quick thought. I would love to see a flying Hurricane in Russian AF markings with the big under nose filter (Volkes?).
I dont want the thread to do down a owners have the right to paint their aircraft how they desire (and rightly so) but are there any Hurricanes been restored to fly that will fly in these markings and configuration mentioned above?

I believe that Hurricane IIb Z5252 will be restored this way, but you’d have to travel to Russia to see it.
