The attached image shows an inscription on the sponson of the Supermarine Air Yacht, possibly some form of good luck charm associated with the svastika also painted on the aircraft and possibly one of the alphabets used for Sanskrit. Can anyone provide a translation?

Hi Schneiderman,
I’m risking total embarrassment here if I’m wrong but I think you may be looking at it upside down. If you rotate the photograph the writing becomes very Arabic like – what then looks like a capital J being the Arabic letter “laam” and the one that then looks like a reversed 3 being “3ayn”. Possibly written by someone lying on the pontoon?
