Oops now we’re going over the line 🙁
I have a few other pics that I did along the religious line but even if I wanted to, I couldn’t post them here (some people are rather touchy about naked people) Oh well.
Georgii: Thanks for the encouragement brother, should you feel like a couple of scriptures then look these up
Is 43:1 (My absolute favourite)
Hab 3:19 (one for strength)
Phil 4:13 (What more needs to be said?)
I learnt one valuable lesson when I was a kid:
“Never talk religion, politics or money in mixed company”
And I’ve stuck to it, when it comes to religion, I have my beliefs and sometimes they do differ from the church, but one thing is sure, we will find out the answer in the end! Who knows maybe Satan is Gay, or God does look like a monkey with a frogs tounge and is Buhdist, but the most important thing to remember here is:
AIRCRAFT RULE THE SKIES, I can’t here you…
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sorry Kev, I’ve been meaning to email you, but the service here at my local library is very sub-standard. I promiss to get to you soon mate.

RE: Re God on his side
Wow – that’s throwing the gauntlet down to mixtec!
I agree with the sentiment though. Dubya reminds me of the Boers of a hundred years ago who believed they could do whatever they wanted because God was on their side. The unfortunate thing was that they nearly got away with it…

Re God on his side
Mixtec,
I take it you are referring to George W Bush?

RE: Ja no need for this
I dont think Im being intolerant by saying this, but when ever you see someone wearing a “Jesus Saves” t-shirt, isnt that just like a sign on their back warning “BEWARE OF JERK”? Is there anything worse than an ***hole with God on his side?

Both ways,a great pic!

Ja no need for this
I agree with Kev. As I’ve said in my first posting that I like the picture for it self.
You must not cross the line by pushing your fate to anyone but this was certainly OK, so don’t worry about it.

RE: Sorry people
“Stand tall, JA. And shame on the forum members who fail to show the tolerance they think they believe in.”
Georgii,
What’s all this rubbish about shame? I don’t think anyone is showing a lack of tolerance. Most have said they like the image, just dislike the religious sentiment. No-one has shouted Ja down over this, no-one has said he was wrong to post this. We’ve all just expressed our opinions, which, after all, is what this forum is for.
Ja,
you know there’s no need to be sorry, we all have our own individual beliefs and values, that’s what makes us what we are. It’s good to have you back mate, let’s hope we hear a lot more from you soon.
Regards,
kev35

RE: Sorry people
So what is so terribly wrong with a little bit of religious sentiment? I am a bit short of that myself, but I’m also short on the anti-religion. I notice that some others in the forums are not too discreet with their social/philosophical preferences – particularly of a “materialist” inclination? Personally, I take my outlook from the traditions of the Scottish enlightenment – Alexander Pope, Smith, Hume, etc. But so long as ye try not to force thy views on me…
Stand tall, JA. And shame on the forum members who fail to show the tolerance they think they believe in.

Sorry people

I just wanted some oppinions on how it looked, that’s all!

Ditto
Nice scene, shame about the religion bit.

RE: A little faith for everyone.
Ja,
nice to see you back again. The picture is stunning but I’m afraid the sentiment leaves me feeling cold. I place my faith in people, not in a deity I cannot believe exists.

RE: A little faith for everyone.
I am trying to regain my faith in the R.C. religion after a little dispute with the Big “G” Man.
Very nice Ja, thanx.

RE: A little faith for everyone.
I like the picture, the competite and light, but I’m not religious, I’m a agnosticus, so it doesn’t appeal to me in that level.
