A little help please

I fly out next Saturday, MAN-EWR with Continental and just need to know what the rules are regarding using my PSP on the flight? It does have internet capabilities, so can i use it or not? Just to be on the safe side.

Also we fly on 767-400ER, can anybody tell me what Conti’s service is like?

Thanks in advance

Whatever you do dont leave it onboard when you leave the aircraft. The amount of people who leave those things onbaord and never get the back is shocking.

A friend flew recently and found the cabin crew would not accept any cash currency other than US Dollars, and that their credit card machine/reader wasn’t working, so she spent the entire trip unable to purchase anything.

Other than that I gather they are OK ?

I miss those 764’s at GLA…. 🙂

Don’t expect any youthful crew to while away the time with. Good flights like the Londons are bid for and given to the senior crew. Look out for zimmer frames in the fwd galley! Nice aircraft to be pax in though so never mind the oldies. As stated above your PSP will be fine as long as the signs are off but it is always worth checking the inflight mag for confirmation.

Well I’ve travelled transatlantic with Continental on their B757-200s and thought the service was fantastic, so I’m guessing with the extra comfort of PTV’s and the fact that it’s a widebody will make it a more enjoyable journey.

I’m not picky was aircraft takes me to my destination (unlike some) whether it’s a single isle or a twin isle but the 764 should be a comfy ride. Below is the only CO 764 visit I’ve managed to catch way back on December 29th 2004.

Expect a long take-off roll, this example used as much as it could 😀

PSP will be fine, switch it to Flight Mode if it has one. Only rule is don’t use it during take off and landing ie when the seat belt signs are on.

Continental service is meant to be pretty standard, nothing too exceptional, and you even have to pay for alcoholic drinks I believe these days.
