Guys,
Avast updated not long ago and shortly afterwards I got this pop up. I have no idea what a rootkit is and I wondered if I should follow through and delete it or not?

I restarted and it hasnt come up 🙂 So it must of been my fault for not restarting right away 🙂

I see. I did update but I didnt restart the PC when it asked..If I restart now will this get rid of the issue?

No, update your Avast to the newest version, restart your PC and scan again.

This is an Avast system file!
You need to update your Avast to the newest version, me heartie.
