7) November 7 (red day I believe the English call it?)
8) Albert (Was he Belgian by any chance? It is a traditional name in the Belgian royal house.)
9) 30 years, duh
10) A breed of large dogs (Latin name: Canarie Insulae ‘Island of dogs’)
The answers I had were:-
1) Ecuador
2) Squirrel fur
3) New Zealand
4) From sheep and horses
5) Distinctively crimson
6) 116 years, from 1337 to 1453
7) November. The Russian calendar was 13 days behind ours.
8) Albert. When he came to the throne in 1936 he respected the wish of Queen Victoria that no future king should ever be called Albert.
9) Thirty Years. From 1618 to 1648
10) Island of the dogs (From the Latin name Insularia Canaria)
I should imagine that #5 is probably the colour during the breeding season – but what do I care!:D

While we are at it, all these questions and answers with the exception of question 5 came from http://www.totse.com/. May I advice people to use google instead of common sense as these “pub-questions” are never logical!
