A long road ahead.

After a long battle we now have our Fuse jig.Was going to go traditional but after some sage advice have decided to change the way we are going to build it to something a bit more practical. As long as we keep an eye on the deflection of the central beam when we sheet the sides, eventually we should be fine.On the base we will be building a false floor that will incorporate the main spar and rear spar mounts that will lock into place with the jig in the upright position.
Frame wise we are in the process of putting in the Lightening holes in our new build frame designs as we now have all the outer and inner profiles. They have been put together in a loft in 3D and discrepancies noted and changed so we have a perfect Spitfire fuse shape.Lot more work to go onto and I think this project will eventually kill me with stress but oh what fun..!!:diablo:

You know us Aussies Stuart!!

Why put a 44 in there when a couple of kegs of Beer will suffice. 😀

There seems quite a large gap between f11 and f15, is that space for the 45 gallon drum?
