A.M Form 78

I hate acronyms, does anyone have any idea what AW/CN under the taken on charge line of an A.M Form 78 could possibly mean.

Also how accurate is the information on these cards, from the one in question it states that the aircraft was issued to a Squadron on 7 May 1942, however I have a copy of a pilots log book and he apparently flew it with the Squadron on 5 May 1942, I would believe the log book before the Form 78.
