A memorable day

Today has been a good day.

Driving back through Chippenham, a C130K,ramp down, probably on families day duties,overflew Lyneham almost certainly for the last time on a circular route from Brize.

Canberra XH134 has also flown several noisy and spirited sorties from Kemble and at one stage this afternoon I could see both from my garden at the same time.

Sad to think in a few weeks time the mighty K will be no more and this was the final opportunity to see these two icons of the 60s in the same piece of sky.
