Despite having said in the past that Lisbon was to expensive for them Easyjet will start flying to the Portugese capital from Geneva.
Gatwick to Murcia
Gatwick to Grenoble
Dortmund to Milan (Malpensa)
Dortmund to Barcelona
Geneva to Lisbon
Geneva to Malaga
The new daily services reflect easyJet’s continued commitment to growth at its bases in Dortmund, Gatwick and Geneva. The flights will connect currently served destinations, with the exception of Lisbon, which is a new city to be added to the airline’s network.
These new additions will increase the total number of routes to 216 and the total number of key airports served to 64.
The Murcia region is situated between the mountains of Andalusia and Castilla-La Mancha, with easy access to the 250km of Mediterranean coastline called the Costa Calida. The primary industry of the region is fruit growing and canning and the thousands of orchards add to the truly Spanish atmosphere, that is attracting increasing numbers of second home owners.
Situated in a valley with panoramic views of the mountain, the picturesque city of Grenoble is lively and cosmopolitan. As the Capital of the Alps, Grenoble is renowned for its great food, festivals and accessibility for skiing and cycling. The city and surrounding area is also an important centre for technological development and the Alpine Crescent region is France’s answer to Silicon Valley. Not only is Grenoble one of the most convenient airports for accessing the French Alps and its fantastic countryside but it also provides excellent access for the variety of international businesses based in the region.
Seats will be on sale at http://www.easyJet.com later today, with flights available from £17.99 one way (£40.98 return including taxes).

Good news for easyJet! Hopefully Lisbon will be served from London one day. Also noting that easyJet will serve Milan MXP and not there usual airport LIN. Are they going to operate to both MXP and LIN or switch all the Milan traffic to Malpensa?
