A new word we can't use…

An American pickle firm has changed the name of one of its products after someone objected to the word “Midget”. They call it the “M-word”.

A mother has a young child who has a form of dwarfism complained…and while I certainly agree that calling people midgets is no longer tolerable, I do think that applying it to pickles is going a bit far.

After all, my faithful Oxford dictionary lists midget as an small person or object.

I wonder if MG wil retroactively send out new nameplates?
