A Pair of 1/72nd Scale Austers – J/1N and Mk.V

Taylorcraft Auster J/1N

This Auster J/1N was converted from a military Auster Mk.III. Wing tanks, generator, new exhaust and upper canopy glazing were the main changes.

Taylorcraft Auster Mk.V

This Mk.V Auster was also converted from an inline engined Mk.III. A mould was taken from a Pawnee cowl which was similar but longer, and a resin version made and shortened. Upper glazing was changed, a pair of exhausts made, wing generator added, new prop found and a belly tank made.
