Sorry Jeanske_SN!! Runway 10/28 is the same as ALC. Don’t know why I want it!!

I’d build an airport on the nature reserve just up the road. We’re about 20 miles from Heathrow, so it could be London-Reading International Airport, using a single 12,000ft runway and having two terminals; one for domestic departures/arrivals and the other for international departures/arrivals.
Terminal 1 – Domestic Flights
British Airways (Glasgow and Edinburgh)
Aurigny (to the Channel Islands)
Ryanair (to Prestwick, Liverpool and Dublin)
bmi (to Manchester)
Terminal 2 – International Flights
British Airways (European services)
Emirates (to Dubai)
Air France (to Paris)
bmi (European and long haul services)
KLM (to Amsterdam)
Iberia (to Barcelona and Madrid)
Alitalia (to Milan)
Swiss (to Geneva)
Lufthansa (to Munich and Frankfurt)
MyTravel Airways (short haul flights only)
Britannia Airways TUI (short haul flights only)
Monarch Airlines (short haul flights and Orlando Sanford)

why 10/28? i hope you know wtaht the direction is not chosen, but depends on the wind!

Er, Rab C lives in Govan… need I say more? just look at his neighbours on EdMinceton Drive/Copland Road/Broomloan Road… 😉
Anyway, at least Glasgow has charachter, Embra’s just a glorified tourist attraction. It’s soooooooo fake and overpriced.
(and yes, I have lived there, I went to Heriot Watt Uni)
And anyway, why wouldn’t anyone know where the Wirral is? it’s been emblazoned on Tranmere Rovers’ shirts for long enough…

The A319s are going to be based at LTN and LGW. Where are you from Flymonarch because you know where the Wirral is and not many people know that?

LMAO,, you’ve got it thew wrong way round.
Its a fact that most tourists and international visitors would rather fly into Edinburgh directly, instead of having to Bus in from Glasgow

i would do,
T1 – Star alliance
T2 – one world
T3 – Sky Team
T4 – short range (airlines not in alliances)
T5 – long range (airlines not in alliances)
this would, make air travel a lot better, less terminal changes, easier connections
