On final into EDI’s runway 24. My trail flight lesson from May last year in a Piper Archer G-BNGT. It was amazing! 😀

Let me try another just so I don’t get rusty! 😀
From the Leuchars Air Show last year at RAF Leuchars near St. Andrews.

Sure thing, possibly sometime during the first week of June, my next flight is on the 3rd of June so not then. EDI-BHX-EDI on FlyBE 😀 . Although that’s a bit of a nasty time, the week before CO start! 🙂 We’ll see, and I’ll let you know for sometime over the summer.

Sure thing. I’ll be there 🙂

Just let me know whenever we can meet.

I’m in Edinburgh for a couple of hours on the 1st of May, flying in with BA from Gatwick and then flying back with a friend who is cabin crew with easyJet. I land at about 0750 and leave again at 1025 so I’ve got some time in between if anyone is around.

100 posts, my first milestone. 🙂

Like the sound of it, though best not be this weekend, let you know when it is ideal, although clogged up with exams until the beginning of June so…
Anyway it’ll better when EDI’s summer timetable is in full flow 😀
What’s that, CO at EDI, oo man yes! :p
How about till a weeken after the 11th of June?! 😉 🙂

Scotland sure is fascinating. I love living here
I get this view more or less on my doorstep
Ripconcorde, you and I gotta meet up. How about a spotting session at edi this weekend?

Howz about BRU-EDI on BMI Regional ERJ145? Don’t know the price, but could be too expensive.?
By: Jeanske_SN - 22nd April 2004 at 19:30
I want to have a trip to Scotland in the summer, but I guess not cuz my dad is a boring man and I can’t find a suitable flight. The best I found was fly to Prestwick from Charleroi with Ryanair for 40 eur and return from Inverness with bmi via LHR for 160 eur. That’s for two persons including taxes.

Forgot to mention, that in these pics you can’t see the construction work on the extended taxiways which is now well on it’s way towards completion.
How things have changed in less than a year! 🙂

He looks a bit high (3 white, 1 red) but that’s perfect following a 737. Remember to stay high on glide following a heavy aircraft for wake turbulance avoidance.
Great pictures by the way!

Excellent photographs. There are three shots of G-BNGT on Airliners.net which are worth a look. 2 of them have had 2,000 views, so they must be quite special!
Thanks for sharing them with us. 🙂
