Hi folks,
just saw the video about the Gripen hosted by the Indian TV journalist Vishnu Som, and so I have one question!
Why do pilots mount the Gripen from the right/starboard side?
Maybe it is just a Saab odd, like Porsche have the key ignition on the left/backbord side!
I know, that most fighter jets are mounted from the left/backbord side.
It has to do with tradition, that horses were mounted also from the left/backbord side. A knight wore then their sword on the left, so they draw it with their right hand.
Thanks in advance for quick answer!
