Just a quick morning visit to get some record shots of the Eurofighter DA04 being assembled in the AirSpace hanger in the place of the Shackleton which is back outside again. Charlie Brown took off in Spitfire BM597 moments after doors opened. He flew off for about 10 minutes before coming back for a bit of a display over the airfield before departing for Old Warden. The ‘Spirit of Kent’ Spitfire TA805 is having a bit of a make over with the addition of some black and white stripes and ‘Sally B’ is a four engined bomber again.

I love this time of year at Duxford, lots going on, lots to see, if you are lucky its almost a free airshow if you catch a few air tests etc – am loving the shot with the Spitfire in the loop – lovely…..
I believe the new engine on ‘Sally B’ will be running in the morning on Sunday, presuming all went well today:D
