Endless threads on the F35 and I have looked through them quickly but couldn’t instantly find an answer to a simple question.
The 01/19 runway at Marham has been expensively resurfaced and brought into use, apparently for the F35s.
Is this to do with some special surface treatment to cope with vectored thrust?
Thanks in advance

If it’s using a runway then it’s taking off and landing normally, so not likely for STOVL ops.
If it does a VL then they will have a VL “pad” somewhere for that.
