As I sit here in Belfast this afternoon with quite a bit of time to spare, I thought I’d update you with my various activities in the past week.
Part 1
Last Tuesday I flew out to Belfast International (BFS) from STN, onboard an EZY 737-700 G-EZJB. This was my first time on one of the -700’s (my previous 8 EZY flights being on the -300’s) and I wasn’t too confident at first as we boarded and saw how filthy the aircraft looked from the outside. However, once inside and seated just behind the wing, I was relieved to see how the aircraft was very clean, I had plenty of legroom and the cabin crew were just as professional as I have seen on many full-fare airlines. We took off from RWY05 at STN, producing a good overview of the terminal layout etc (http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=517660 ) and headed North at 37,000ft. After about 40 minutes we soon began the descent into a cloudy Belfast, and made a smooth touchdown on RWY25. Managed a quick look in the cockpit after the flight too http://jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=517666 .
