A Romanian MiG 21 Lancer crashed ysterday at Campia Turzii Base; both pilots died

A Romanian AF MiG 21″Lancer” belonging to the Campia Turzii base crashed yesterday at 13.30. Both pilots died.

The pilots were: Cpt. Laurentiu Chirita (1.300 hours) and Cpt. Sorin Avram (1000 hours). Both pilots were flight instructors.
