A sad farewell to our Jet Provost.

Hi Guys

It is a very sad weekend for both Max and myself, as we have concluded a deal to sell our very much loved Jet Provost T Mk.3A, XN584. She will however be staying at Bruntingthorpe, and is passing into the care of some very good and knowlegable people, who will I am sure give her at least as much TLC that we did durring our ownership of her.

It also marks the end of our involvment with both the Phoenix Aviation Museum and with Bruntingthorpe in general, although we may be enticed back from time to time to help out our good friends at the LPG.

I would like to take this oppertunity to thank all at Bruntingthorpe, for helping us to have the very best times of our lives over the past few years, all the guys at Phoenix, and at the other groups on the airfield, and not least the Walton family for being wonderful hosts to us.

We will miss you all very much indeed.

We are not sure what the future holds for us right now, or if we will ever participate in any aviation related events, but to all of you litteraly all over the world who we are proud to call our friends, Thanks.

Ritch and Max Blood.

Sad to lose you both, I hope you will pay us some visits occasionally.
(especially when we get the two seater Hunter running ;))
All the best,

There not much i can add really but i hope what ever path you take it brings as much happiness as the JP did. I do hope you have some involvement in aviation still even if its just posting on here as you will be missed.

If you ever fancy a chat or down this the way then the kettles aways on 🙂

All the best!

Our very best wishes to you Ritch, you will always get a warm welcome in our crew room, and i hope the new owner / operators of the JP lavish as much TLC on that aeroplane as you and the guys did, without doubt a you are a crew that will be sorely missed.

Ritch & Max.I only met you once ! but you left me with a very nice feeling, having read most of your ‘down to earth’ posts on here I just knew you would be like that !
The speed with which your deal was done must surely reflect the TLC you two lavished on the JP ! glad to hear she will be at Brunty.
I know we will meet again !!! and remember I have some nice photos of you two, both smiling …. Be Happy.

Keith.
