Since their demise it would seem, being in full Canada 3K colours

Speaking of which.. does anyone know how connected Canada 3000 was with Air 2000 ? Obviously they had identical liveries at one stage but were they part of the same group?

I’ve said it once and i’ll say it again, it’s a much maligned aircraft through no fault of it’s own

look at the lovely big side windows on the DC10. Not to be flown by vertigo sufferers!

I think they’re only interested in DC10-30’s
10-10’s are older and as far as I know just not worth it.

Besides, they have a reserve fleet of about 40 to 70 ex AA, UA and Hawiian DC-10-30’s sitting in the desert awaiting conversion.

I’m afraid folks, the DC-10 has had its day as a pax aircraft. although there are still a few airlines using them they’ll all be for the scrapheap or Cargo conversion shop within the next 5 years I’d say.

Yes they are, recently retired due to expiration of their COA’s all are DC10-10’s the one remaining DC10-30 continues in limited service for around another year.

I flew on one of the 10-10’s a couple of years ago when in full Airtours livery, here’s a wee snap I took at Malaga last summer.
