Great shots Andy, I love the close up of the Cathay 747. I still need to pay the south side a visit!

From the AVP, under both runways, past the roundabout, then hang a right to Mobberly. Right again at the T-junction, past the golf course (about a mile or so), then right where the road dips and bends left then right. Then I get a bit more vague but keep your eyes out for aircraft. I THINK its second left (definitely not first left), then left again when you come to a small junction with a grass triangle in the middle of it. Follow the road to the end and park off the road.

Sounds about right, the area you mean is Ostlers Lane/Wood Lane/Woodend Lane, they are all close by and give you perfect views of the Runway and you can park your car as well 🙂

Guys, just wondering where you park over that way?

great shots, I was just a little bit further down 06, other side of the fire station in a group of 5. Great weather and yes I remember the jogger aswell 😉 I’ll post some pics when I get back home on monday. Nice smokey touch downs. I wished I was actaully closer to your position as heat haze has killed a few.

love the CX!!

Ace photos. The best one in my opinion is that Finnair Embraer 170. Love them little jets.

Ahhh….. I know exactly where you were, and I certainly did see you.

I almost walked down that far but my calves were aching somewhat after my walk from The Romper and subsequent feats of mountaineering.

As I said elsewhere – drivers have it easy. 😉

I don’t remember a “fat bloke in a white rugby shirt” but I do remember a jogger! 🙂

I walked from the western end of 06 rather than from the hotel – much flatter (too much effort going down and up past the Bollin), not at all muddy, and closer to where a car can be parked, so probably didn’t walk past you Lance. There were three of us a little west of the main pack – I was wearing a bright red coat! I’d have walked down to the main group, except that I met someone I knew and we ended up chatting all morning.

Very nice. 😀

At a rough guess, I’d say you were less than 100m west of where I was standing – we seemed to have pressed our shutters more or less simultaneously for that shot of the Qatar A330.

I’ll bet I said “Good Morning” to you. I was the fat bloke in the white rugby shirt with the Canon 350D.

And did you notice the jiggling jogger? :diablo:
