A Somewhat Dull Afternoon At MAN! 5-6-08

Hi All,

Yesterday I had a trip over the Pennines to meet up with the legend that is Adam Spalding. (No really… He is!)

The light was quite nice at around mid day when I arrived, but then deteriorated quite dramatically from then on. Me and Spalds were round the back of the Airport Hotel drinking… We didn’t care!

All plane images taken with a Canon 30D (which despite scratching the sensor I can still actually shoot with) and an EF 70-200L f4.

Great shots Paul, mine were certainly suffering from a bit of AICS (Alcohol Induced Camera Shake)

To be honest it was quite bright when I arrived, but by the time Adam landed and we headed to the Airport Hotel it had clouded over quite dramatically, so the shots from then on were brightened using a bit of Photoshop trickery!

Nice shooting Paul – the Qatar and tha tail line up are both the picks for me. The Lat Chater is a nice catch too – i hear that its operating for Air Malta at the moment. 🙂
