I photographed this spread of Ground Instruction Airframes today and thought I would share them. There are no prizes for guessing the types involved.

PP5 Sits alongside various Wessex airframes awaiting their turn to help train airframe repair teams and then ending up with the BDR specialists!

Spread at Gosport
The aircraft spread I posted is indeed at Gosport. They all reside within Newcomen Hangar and are used for a variety of training tasks for 764 Initial Training Squadron. All come under the control of The DCAE, The Defence College of Aeronatical Engineering of which the Aircraft Maintenance Section Is but one part.

Don’t you mean HMS Sultan, the Royal Naval Air Engineering and Survival School (RNAESS)?
I thought the RAF had handed it over to the Navy years ago.
