A Strange New Route For XL Airways…?

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned on the forum, but I was surprised to see the advertisement below in one of yesterday’s tabloid newspapers. Didn’t Ryanair once operate this route?

When Easyjet commenced this route, Ryanair dumped capacity on it at low fares until EZY gave it up – then Ryanair quit the route too! Wonder if they will do the same this time – they are sensitive about intruders on their patch!

I found this a total surprise when I found out about it a couple of weeks ago. Good luck to them, though.

Yeah I saw it in The Times yesterday too. Very odd! :confused:
