The sun was shining so I tightened the chain on my motorbike and headed off down the A14/M11 to South Cambridgeshire. Sally B was sitting outside, wing tips off and an engine missing, again. The Kent Spitfire, TA805, was in the north side of Hanger 2 for presumably it’s annual MoT. The fuselage of Harvard FH153 has also taken up residence of T2N. Tom Blair’s Air Force (Spitfire/Buchon/FW190) is gradually moving away from the doors in Hanger 3. The 190 is now in an excellent position to photograph. Meanwhile in Hanger 5, the F-15 has been rubbed down prior to re-painting and a previous life is visible on the fins.

That B-17 engine is up and down more than a yoyo!!!
The Fw 190 was in a better position on Friday – it was outside briefly as they dragged out TD248.
