Hi All,
In light of the fact that three airlines that were regularly seen at MAN now don’t exist, I thought it might be nice to have a photo thread dedicated to them.
If anyone else has images of Zoom, Futura or XL, feel free to add them to this thread. Here are various images of those airlines in happier times over the last couple of years. I’ll add more as I find them.
We’ll no longer see Zoom’s all blue fuselage sitting proudly in the lineup at T2.

Just browsing through my archives and came across these. Sadly, and somewhat surprisingly, I only ever took 2 Zoom photos.
And the only ever photo I got of a Futura plane was last week in Dublin, parked up out of service:

Just a pretty rubbishy pic (mainly due to weather), of C-GOAF (XL B738), about 4 hours before it’s final departure from Newcastle Airport (Tue 16/9/08), destination Lasham.

Amazingly these 3 airlines do not feature in my collection an awful lot, having only around 2/4 shots each of Futura/XL and none of Zoom! oh well, here’s a couple of ok shots I do have…..

Looking through the shots I have aircraft i’m saddened that I couldn’t find any of excel, futura or zoom. However, I must say these shots are all fantastic! Hope to see more
