A UK aviation museum near you

I can’t find on Historic Aviation that this website has been publicised before, but it looks pretty comprehensive to me http://www.museum-explorer.org.uk/show.php?page=browse

I really didn’t know some of these museums existed, I do now! :p

DaveT,

Try contacting them with details of what’s needed to update your entry and you should find them v receptive.

Yep done that.

I also noticed that the Spitfire RR232 featured in Flypast is missing, along with the Sea Vixen in Sth Devon, the SHAR & Buccanear in Topsham, the collection of retired & flying Austers at Eggesford……(and on and on) :diablo:

Lets hope their open to constructive comments ?

Cheers……..

Crikey, me too 😮

Except there are errors in my listing and several others throughout Devon also. (eg: Hunter T.7 PH-NLH cockpit is back in Holland).

Looking at the way its done, i think its merely and on line version of Wrecks & Relics, warts & all.

Cheers……..

Hi All,

Sorry for the late reply – glad to get some +ve feedback about the site!

TMN – Thanks again for your recent contributions – was able to get your images from Boulton Paul, Woburn and Little Gransden in the listings in addition to the Liberator and Valiant.

A number of other forumites have images on the site or have provided information – thanks also!!

It is a very good site – one of the guys is a member on here, and has used some of my photo’s of the Valiant and B-24 at Cosford recently.

Looking at Cambridgeshire, I’m amazed at how many people near me have Canberra B2s tucked away….
