Afternoon all
Myself and Tom (Future Pilot) decided that the weather was going to be the best today out of the week, but boy were we wrong!
Im still defrosting as temperatures stayed below freezing point
Sorry about the quality of the pics, i need to get a DSLR soon 😀
A Baby 737 about to line up Rwy 33
A Thomson 757 bound for warmer weather
Flybe 146 heading towards the runway
All white FC 757 about to power down Rwy 33
Nose close up of ‘Bravo-Golf’
Good to see a 732 again, at the hold for Rwy 33
Come to BHX….heaven for 146 fans 😀
My first sighting of the Asterix sticker
Another Flybe 146
and to finish it off, i did something a bit special 😀
Using his 350D 😎

Beautiful 😀
That Visit Wales is a nice plane as well, it was in MAN the other week but not in an easy position for me to get a photo. It always seems to be a bit distant when I see it. It certainly looks like you had a good day at BHX yesterday!

Nice shots! I especially like G-OOOG in the all white – didn’t realise the engine covers were white/green either.

Thanks for the comments 🙂
There wasn’t much variety whilst i was there, apart from Flybe, Bmi baby and BA
Here are a few more and another shot of the SNBA 146 for Comet 😀
A KLM 737 heads towards the runway is terrible light
The ‘Visit Wales’ livery 737 short finals for Rwy 33
Flybe 146 over the runway to land
BA 145 on finals for Rwy 33 in the gloom

Great photos (don’t apologise for the quality!)
You are lucky to bag Asterix, I looked all over for that one in BRU the other week and didn’t see it 🙁
I hope I get to bag it at NCL in March.

great shots, looks like you two had a good day, despite the weather

Where was your vantage point? I’m thinking of venturing down to BHX one day next week.
Down at the end of the long stay car park, you will see where it is as you walk down there.
This is the only ideal place you can get shots from as the viewing park has now been demolished as 6 new remote stands are being built for T2
Thanks for your comments guys!

Great shots! BHX looks like a pretty good airport for photography.
I like the 732. It’s good to see a few of them still in the air. R.I.P. FR 732’s…Sniffle sniffle…

Excellent shots. Must be crazy going out there in these temperatures, already preparing myself for going to watch the mighty (Ahem) Bradford City play tonight in minus whatever temperatures!
Looking forward to seeing Toms :).

Very nice selection Jon, especially myself there to finish it off! 😀
Just blame the weatherman 😉
