A Very Convivial Evening…

Hi
Despite the fact that I arrived home this morning to find the forum littered with limbless bodies and pulled threads I’d like to write and thank the people who made yesterday evening a bit special for me (and themselves I hope).
Firstly JDK and Mrs JDK (Bev) for hosting a small forum gathering at their home.
The food, wine and Tea were all excellent as was the company of MOTF and Mark V (as was). James organised a slide show of some fairly special photographs he has and somehow each of us seemed to bring something to the evening.

My very best thanks to all of you.
Sorry, that Robbo and Mike j couldn’t make it.
Cheers
Andy.

Sadly we were unable to make it but I trust that you all told yourselves where to go in the true Hiscock manner.

Imagine the scene, an aerial photo opf RAF Mildenhall in the 1930’s taken from about 2000ft Several lines of Biplanes parked on the field and Andy In Beds peering at the screen to not only identify which type is in each line but whether or not they had rounded wingtips or not.

Thanks Nick.
You’ve just given the ‘O’ Man and Robbo enough material last all day Sunday!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

It was a cracking evening, thanks to all concerned.

Imagine the scene, an aerial photo opf RAF Mildenhall in the 1930’s taken from about 2000ft Several lines of Biplanes parked on the field and Andy In Beds peering at the screen to not only identify which type is in each line but whether or not they had rounded wingtips or not.

Not that he was being obsessed or anything like that 🙂

I have just realised there wasnt a single slide of a P-51!!!!!!!

Good luck Mr and Mrs JDK, hope to see you soon.
