A Very Dull MAN! 20-03-08

Hi All,

Here are a few from the start of a very dull day here in Manchester, where myself and Adam Spalding have now retrated to the warmth of the Wetherspoon free house in Wilmslow. (Free wi-fi… Wehey!)

Incidentally these are my first aviation photos since Adam, myself and another weirdo with a camera (Tom@EMA) went to Madeira in December… That’s my excuse for them being rubbish anyway! 🙂

More to follow later. We’re probably going to head to the Airport pub and freeze there for a while. All good fun!

Thanks for looking. 🙂

Having seen the histogram it looks perfectly fine to me 😉

Unfortunately in certain weather conditions you’re always compromising. Sometimes you end up with a comparitavely bright and clear shot (which by chance has a ‘technically perfect’ histogram in as much as your range of exposed pixels goes from 0 to 255 without too much of either extreme) instead of what may be considered by some to be a photo that has ‘perfect overall’ contrast. In all honesty, I was just happy to get something at least vaguely worthy of posting in such poor conditions. I didn’t expect to get anything but blurry, unusable shots!

Thankyou again for your comments, everyone. Be sure to watch out for Adams photos from this little trip. 🙂

Paul

P.S. Snogger… Yes, I’ve flown on Dreamliner… Twice… Just don’t mention that to Spalds!

The XL 737 could maybe do with darkening a tad

Not a term you often hear associated with Manchester shots ! 😀

Thanks guys! I’m now back in Bradford, Spalds is back in Brizzle and we both have lots of images to edit! I’ll tag more onto this thread early next week as I edit them and make another thread for the sunny (Yes, sunny!) photos from today.

Thanks again for your kind words, all!

Can you spot the ‘mini wind farm’ that has been installed at the airport…? 😉 😎

Top of T2 on 4th shot 😉

Nice shots Paul, to think of the weather!

A great set of shots, Paul. You should have said you were at the car park – I would have come along to say hi!
