A Very Grey Morning At MAN! 4-5-08

Hi All!

Yesterday Sam (Northern_Git), Benny (BT777) and I had an early morning wander over the hills to MAN. Expecting it to be dull but not necessarily too wet we were a little unhappy when the heavens opened after just over an hour of us being on the south side, meaning we were on our way back home by 9am (where we proceeded to go bowling and visit the cinema. Not as good as sitting by a runway but better than getting wet!) My shortest visit to MAN ever!

Anyway… Here are a few I managed to get that were reasonably actually sharp. Conditions were terrible and most of these were shot at ISO 250 or 320 and pushed at least another half a stop in PS (bringing some of them to an equivalent of around ISO 500!) What the hell… I enjoy a challenge occasionally!

All taken with a Canon 30D + Tamron 28-300. (My 50-500 is at Sigma finally, getting fixed. I’ll be reunited with it shortly. Yay!)
