….. for those U.K. forumites who live in the mid-Hertfordshire area. The Burnham Green Village Fete takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, from 1400hrs. to 1700hrs. John Romain (local boy made good) has a hand in arranging a spot of aerial entertainment every year and, as 2010 is the 70th anniversary of the BoB, there will be a display by – guess what – a Spitfire ! So if you have a spare afternoon, instead of struggling to the seaside, pop down and get a Merlin (or Griffon) fix.
