A very windy LBA

Made a visit to LBA on Saturday lunchtime – nothing was happening! A Jet 2 received the weather and made a diversion – then came the BE arrival from Belfast. Wind 26 kts gusting to 42 kts! He did very weel given the condiitions and was the first arrival on Saturday. Other pics are the KLM to AMS which left immediately after the BE landed. If you notice the KLM is heading straight for me – if you imagine the runway is running at 6 on a clock and I’m stood betwen 4 and 5 this gives you an indication of how bad the crosswind was. From this position you are usually photographing the side of the a/c, not its belly!
