I just found this ad and thought I’d share it, it looks like a great project for someone with a big enough wallet. Does anyone have an identity for this one and the background etc?

Hi,
If I’m not wrong Aero Trader is also restoring one for Kermit Weeks.

The large asking price is due to not only buying the aircraft, but as the ad states, you’re buying into a restoration contract with Aero Trader to turn it into another top-quality airworthy A-20, like the one they just completed for Rod Lewis.

This Havoc has been stored in Geneseo N.Y. for the better part of a decade or more.
It is owned by the Tallichet estate AKA AMARC.
A lot of the restoration was carried out in Beaver Falls Penn. Lots of volunteer labour, then move the airframe some place else.
Not the first time that happened.

I found the Warbird Registry page for it: http://www.warbirdregistry.org/a20registry/a20-440020.html
It’s not been updated in a while…”planned first flight 2003″.
