Had a few days break in Norfolk and tied in my first visit to Norwich Airport. I wish to express my thanks to the guy with his wife’s Ford Escort, who steered me in the right direction to the spotting places. Sorry didn’t catch your name but your info was much appreciated. Hope you don’t mind Skyranger but thought I would post the Olympic even though they are similar to yours. Called round the other side to pick up the Eastern and KLM. Does anyone know who the Puma was getting delivered to – thought it may be Bristows but not to sure. Apologies for the quality of the Puma but the heat haze was a bit bad. Enjoyed my first visit even though I had a few thunderstorms and look forward to a return trip.
Cheers

It is indeed for Bristow…
Presumably Bristow’s have their own paint shop as this was delivered new……….?

Some nice photographs! However, some of them (to me this is, don’t take it solid!) look a little compressed? Still, well done. 🙂

Thanks for confirming what I thought Andrew. Regarding the Aegean – the only info I have got is that it arrived at Norwich from Athens on 3/2/09 to be returned to lessor.
Hope this helps

I agree with Garry, that Olympic scheme is awful. I think it is the design on the tail that does it, the fuselage does not look too bad.

Nice pics;)
The Olympic is ghastly:eek:…unbalanced and looking like it was designed by a six year old,
These modern designers really have no idea:diablo:

A fine set of shots…very powerful nose-on close-ups and I’m glad to see some space around the side shots
