Does anyone else have problems with A319s in FS2002?
I have a really nice SNBA example, but on a recent “flight” it became completely uncontrollable and I had to close the flight down.
It had been flying at a constant height of 20,000 feet, with constant airspeed and no turbulence, when suddenly it went nose up and would not go back level, no matter how I tried to level it with the joystick. Turning off the autopilot and flying it manually did not work, it just would not lower its nose so that is when I just closed the thing down. It wasn’t stalling because I had no stall warning like you normally would get in a stall situation.
If it’s a problem with the model, does anyone else know where I can get a really good A319 of SNBA?

This incident was a few days ago, so I cannot remember if any auto failures were active, but I do remember that the aircraft had been flying perfectly with a constant height and maintaining a constant speed. I first noticed something was wrong when the sun suddenly hurtled past the window in a downwards direction, when I switched to “spot” view the aircraft was tail down and became completely unresponsive. I thought about asking on here after I had seen the question about overspeed problems, that is why I left it a few days. I haven’t flown that aircraft since, but others in my collection are all performing properly. The CRJ I have is a handful, but that is because it is extremely sensitive to the joystick and only needs the slightest movements to fly it.

Did you have any auto failures active ? Trim or elavator failure ?
Not a 319 fan myself but i using other models i have come across same problem.
Was the aircraft outside the flight envelope ? i have noticed that if for some reason like with a flame out. It does take sometime to get the a/pilot to settle down and stop commanding pitch ups once relight occurs. On some occasions i have had to reselect the plane to stop it.

Thanks for the links bmi-star, I will check that out.
NCLRULES – my joystick is fine, I have no problem with other aircraft, and I check it regularly on the settings things to make sure it is working properly.
