Hello,
I am in desperate need of some information on Indian Airlines A320s. I would like to know the engines installed on the IA A320s, the average age of the IA A320s. I would also like to know if Air India(AI) is still operationg any A300s?? Any information will be appriciated.

Indian Airlines A320’s are powered by IAE V2500 powerplants, and the carrier was an early customer for the A320. The oldest examples were delivered in the late 1980’s and one example was totally destroyed in a landing accident early in the career of the A320.
Indian Airlines examples also use the double bogey main landing gear (like you see on the larger jets such as 757/767/A300/A310 etc) and I think they might be the only carrier that use this type of landing gear on the A320.
Not sure about the Air India A300’s though…..
