I am sorry I was away all this time, but due to thesis work and also travelling home for 3 weeks forced me of keeping away from this favourite forum.
Anyway, I m just posting this link for you to see a very nice picture. Notice the man on the left hand side of the picture giving orders to the A330 and notice also how the A330 is “looking” at the man and is obeying. Also notice the wingspan of that bird. In any case in any colour scheme, she is a beauty

LGKR- Ive been to CFU twice before in 2000 and 2001 and go there next Friday. I have to agree the airport is great and the approach is amazing. When theirs one flight due out all the chairs are gone theres that little space! But thats what i love about Greece.
P.S On a non aviation related note where do you go in Corfu?

i’v been to corfu every year since i was born for a holiday, bar this year and its the best airport! Always visited the island as a second holiday so can easily compare it!
The terminals a shambles, little or no facilites and very, very disorgansied but thats greece!
As for the size of the A330 and its ability to get into CFU; i’ve personally seen 2 Lauda 777’s land there with out a problem and believe that the Jordanian Royal Families own A340 has landed there on many occasion too. I dont think the size of the runway is dangerous, its more the infamous approaches!
