Just have a look at their other items, set of sick bags?
yeah, unfortunately i can imagine a lot of those bids being bogus. but i’d imagine there will be a couple of well off business type people in there who are willing to spend that much on it.
Wonder what the reserve is? hasn’t been met yet!
saying 11.2k with reserve met? think the reserve was around the 1k mark.

Advertising slogans and company or trade names won’t be accepted, so don’t try to kid us that your parents named you ‘ABC Plumbing Ltd’!
Classic….. I love it! 😀

A year of fame, and photographs! I wonder for that price, do the let you smash a bottle of shampagne on the side and give you a madin voyage on here :p
Even still, a very good idea to make money fore charity, will be good to see what name goes on it???

Still a great idea, that way the charity is able to make money year on year.

Does anyone think naming one after Sir George Best would be a good idea?

Ok he was a bit of a pillock wasting his life drinking but on the other hand, he was one of the greatest footballers.

“Hi, yes I would like to make a bid. My name? It’s……er…..it’s…..Mr I. P. Freely.”
In all seriousness though, excellent idea. Fantastic opportunity and all in a good cause.

😀 😀 😀 What a wicked idea…that would be an awsome some of income, especially doing it through an auction, and also reduces the problems of the management having to choose the name of the aircraft as well…, although I think that it is a mistake that Virgin are the first to try it as they are usually quite good at coming up with names for their aircraft – G-VFAB (Lady Penelope) is a prime example… 😀 😀 😀
