A380-800

Just thought I’d mention that if there are any of you out there who do make model aircraft, the A380-800 is out in the shops, by revell at about 23 quid, feels like lots of plastic, and in the new year I might even get one myself! (the first airliner!)

I saw it at the UK IPMS nationals and its certainly big enough!

was talking to a guy from airbus, who graduated last year, and is going to work in the long range customer support area for airlines, aswell as a position with air france in the maintenance department, mentioned the biggest one will be 79.8*79.2m^2 so just a bit of an airliner!

I was surprised at the amount people are buying, fed ex are buying ten of the freighter versions alone. If its not fed ex, its the other people who do overseas shipping……
