A380 at Filton

I have just heard the A380 will be landing at Filton next Monday (26th) and will be stopping off a few times during that week, anybody got any more info on this? or can confirm what time on the Monday?

Thanks

Depends on reception in an area e.g. someone must be feeding their SBS1 box onto the Internet, which in turn relies on aircraft having Mode S transponders. Any lower-modes wouldn’t show up.

Plus the above airfields you highlighted aren’t that busy for projecting large jets into the sky. 🙂

Righto…. Found it. I knew keeping your IE history would one day come in handy.

http://www.airframes.org/

Paste the Hex code into the ICAO24 address: section and it should give you all the info.

Not too sure how correct the data is but i’m sure it should be accurate.

Enjoy! 🙂

Thanks for that now see what aircraft it is:D but its annoying has it goes off in 1 sec then you have to click back onto it 😡 😀 I take that it only shows aircraft at a type off height?

OpenATC

Some brief instructions

1. Download latest Google Earth from
http://earth.google.com/download-earth.html then install it
2. Go to http://www.openatc.com/ge.asp and click “Yes I agree”. If
prompted by your browser, click OK and Google Earth will run.
3. In Google Earth, go to the Places panel on the left, drop down
Temporary Places, then OpenATC Air Traffic then check the Europe box.

Note:
i) When exiting Google Earth, it will prompt you to save the
above changes. Click No.
ii) OpenATC have a little rule that means you have to repeat steps 2 and 3 every time you want to look at the traffic.

Not on my Google earth it don’t, have you got the premium version?

Rgds Cking

No my version is 4.0.2416 (beta).

It’s not the premium version.

It’s always worked on mine.

Try deleting all the OpenATC links in the Places section and try connecting to it again through the OpenATC Website and see what happens.

Great!

If you right click on Europe in the Places section and then click on properties, there’s a refresh section where you can change the refresh time.

I can’t remember how to check the A/C details. I remember that if you click on the triangle next to the flight number you can get the Hex number and then put it into a website and it’ll tell you all the details but like i said i can’t remember what the website was.

I think there is a thread somewhere with the webite. I’ll have a look for it and see what i can find.

Hey James,

On the left hand side of Google Earth there should be section called Places.

In there you need to tick the box next to OpenATC Air Traffic, Then they should all appear on your screen.

It refreshes every minute but if you right click it and go into the properties you can change the refresh rate to 1 sec.

Hope that helped! 🙂

Yes it was roughly on a course from Le Touquet to Hastings and then would have passed over Sevenoaks.

The aircraft (probably F-WWOW) is scheduled to visit LHR on Sunday 15th
April, and it will perform a demonstration flight to British Airways
whilst here.

Times are as follows :-
Arrive 09.50 From Toulouse
Depart 14.00 Demo flight
Arrive 17.00 “” “”
Depart 19.40 To Toulouse

don’t know if they’ll stick to this but the information came from a good source
