It was this morning, at around 11am, over Toulouse.
One hour before, four A380 out of the five flight test aircrafts took off one after the other.
MSN009, powered by US made GP7200 engines, took the lead and the formation flight demonstrated that despite all the critics, the A380 is real…

As far as remember, sound was very low. They were with flap1 config, just to sustain low speed flight, so power was far from max.
Unfortunately I didn’t see the take-off, but I was in LagardΓ¨re building at that time and didn’t even noticed they took the sky.

How is the sound, is it louder than 4 B747’s, and how much time or meters were between them during takeoff and landing?
