A4 Skyhawk and its transport

As mentioned before i was at Erie (spirit of flight museum) delivering a A4 from AZ. nd then collecting an A4 from Front Range Airport. We lifted the wing and fuselage and load the whole aircraft onto a semi for transport. This is the 5th one i have done and the pictures show how……..

The wing has its own special lifting cradle, its a good flyable wing with full undercarriage in great condition, the fuselage is about normal condition and has to have the 6 bolts removed to split the two halves for transportation. The front fuselage nose leg has to be dropped to go into its special cradle. tailplane goes flat on the trailer and ailerons and elevators stacked around it. I wanted to drive to a gliderport with it to see what reaction i got !
