AA Daks

I wonder how many Air Atlantique Daks there have been and their fates?

Sorry this does not answer your question, but wanted an excuse to try posting my first photo on the forum. Hope it turns out!
Anyway, here is G-AMSV at Leicester circa 1985.

Paul

Don’t forget G-AMCA, now at the Aviodrome at Leylstad in a hideous (but authentic) orange livery.

How about G-DAKK ? Was that ever Air Antique? If so, it was before my time.

Haven’t done a census for a while. Think SV was retired? I recall as a wee sprog that SV had her port wing replaced in ’85; the original was still in the AA hangar last year.

hmm,

G-AMPZ, now in Berlin flying from Templehof,

i flew in this aircraft and then it was sold shortly after and moved to Berlin. A year later i was backpacking around Europe and was in Berlin and it overflew me ,a nice reunion 🙂

G-AMRA, I Think this is still alive and kicking with them and replaced PZ as the historic flight dak.

G-ANAF, Used as a research (?) aircraft for thales.

G-AMSV….still airworthy with AA?

G-AMPY ….still airworthy with AA?

G-AMYJ, Donated to the Yorkshire Air Museum

G-AMPO ….still airworthy with AA?

G-AMHJ, Donated to the Assault Glider Project at Shawbury to display alongside their Airspeed Horsa

Ive got a video of three daks flying in formation, i gues i could post a still or two if anyone is interested?

I think this information is correct albeit incomplete

best regards, steve

I used to work there, but not being a spotter I couldn’t tell one from the other unless they were painted in different colours.

Put “ATLANTIC AIR TRANSPORT LTD” into G-INFO and it will tell you thier current ones, plus a whole lot more.

For past ones, why don’t you write to them?
