Honestly I don’t know. An AIM-9X popping out of the trees would certainly be a rude surprise though. :diablo: (this is what’s posted on militaryphotos.net)
“Not the Avenger or the HUMRAAM, but what looks to be a crossbreed of the two.
It can take a variety of weapons, including a 12,7mm GAU-19 rotary gun, the AMRAAM, the standard quad Stinger launcher and the AIM-9X (or is it RIM-72X now?).
Found the pic in the latest issue of “Stratigiki” magazine. I think it is called CADL. Any more photos and info welcome.”

I don’t speak Portuguese, but I guess it said that in the JLENS program, US Army tested the AIM-9X, AMRAAM and Stinger on an HMMWV Missile Tracking Mount (MTM) from Boeing.

Uh…THIS is JLENS:

JLENS refers to the sensor system, it has nothing to do with the SAM element.

Photoshop. Look at pictures of CLAWS or Derby on a HMMWV, the missiles on this picture are far too small and low mounted.
I don’t like that Jeep mounted air defense stuff. Too vulnarable against infantry weapons.
